I've been on the witch path for as long as I can remember. It didn't arrive all at once — it built slowly, over years, through books passed between friends, quiet nights with a candle and a journal, and the kind of curiosity that never really goes away once it takes hold.

So when subscription boxes for witches started appearing, I was excited. Finally, I thought — something made for people like me. I was disappointed more often than not. Box after box arrived with the same problem: a handful of random items thrown together with no thread connecting them. No guidance on how to actually use any of it with intention. No sense of where in the year we were, what energy the season was asking for, or what ritual these objects were even meant to support.

I even worked with a few of these companies myself for a while, hoping I could help shape things from the inside. But it was always the same story — the intention, the guidance, the connection to the Wheel of the Year, the sense that anyone behind it actually practised. Eventually I stopped. If I couldn't fix it from within, I'd build the thing I actually wanted from the ground up.

That thought sat with me for a long time before I did anything about it. But it never really left. And eventually, it turned into Gather the Coven.
